Fred Salley began photographing weddings in 1993 as a favor to friends. The response that he received was so good that in 1997 he began to photograph weddings on a professional level. Since that time the business has grown in different areas but weddings and bridal portraits remain his first love.

As a wedding photographer, Fred believes that one's wedding should not revolve around the photography but that the photography should revolve around the wedding. So pictures are made quietly and with lots of fun in a manner that does not become the focus of the day. Fred puts a lot of emphasis on capturing the moments and feelings of the day. Both candid and photojournalistic photography compliment the many traditional photographs.

As a portrait photographer, Fred believes that a portrait should capture one's personality and soul. Portraits are not merely good photographs of someone.
